The beginning

So I decided to join the already-banal blog bandwagon in a fit of melancholy today. The motivation is this: I love to travel, I love to plan travel, I love to talk about other people's travels. My occupation does not have anything to do with such interests. So perhaps I will write about them and see if that fills some void. I suspect this will be some combination of new writings about travel, the posting of things I've already written, and some linking to things I enjoy.
